Each year, Touro's Graduate School of Social Work participates in Legislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD), a yearly event for social work students from around the state.  This year's event is March 21.  There is a pre-LEAD day training offered on Feb 13.  See below and let me know if you have more questions.

LEAD policy advocacy training is targeted to those who will attend the March 21 LEAD event, though all are welcome.

The pre-LEAD policy advocacy training is a joint event between TCGSSW student council and the National Association of Social Workers-NYC Chapter.  This event will cover the nuts and bolts of advocating for social work issues with elected officials, as well as what to expect at the LEAD event, and information about this year's NASW policy agenda.
