We’re here to help you succeed.

Student Success

Our goal is for you to succeed in the program. And we’re here to help. Whether it’s your own anxiety about social work, stress related to tuition payments and future earning potential, challenges in class or scheduling issues, our staff is available. Contact Allison Bobick in the Office of Student Advancement for more information or to schedule a time to meet.

Community Days

Hosted twice a year, community-day events focus on timely subjects, like the re-assimilation of returning veterans, how to help children cope with cyber-bullying or end of life care

Additionally, there’s a seminar for all students on child maltreatment and identification procedures that’s required for licensing.

Our elective workshops in resume writing, interview skills, and networking, as well as our annual job fair, are all geared to help you find a job after graduation.

We also supervise a preparation course for the Licensed Masters of Social Work exam on both our Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses, along with workshops that offer tips on writing at a graduate level.

You were born to be a social worker. We’ll help you get there.
