Jamie Sundvall

Dr. Jamie Sundvall is the Director of Online Education. She is currently leading development and implementation of the future online MSW program at Touro University. She holds a CSWE-accredited MSW, with dual concentrations in Clinical Practice and Gerontology. She earned her PhD in International Psychology with a specialization in Trauma Services. Dr. Sundvall completed a prestigious and competitive two-year, post-graduate trauma fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has engaged in forensic and clinical practice, acting as a consultant, international liaison, and international US diplomatic advisor, as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy. She has held roles as a professor, research chair, and program administrator in psychology, social work, counseling, and human service programs. Dr. Sundvall has engaged in government and private institutional program development and management to plan, analyze, design, implement, evaluate and lead national and international behavioral health and academic programming. She brings operational and business strategy expertise in growing and managing financially scalable, sustainable, cutting edge, and evidence-based programming. She is an expert in online, remote clinical and educational program delivery, national site and team management, and navigating rigorous, multi-layered accreditation standards. Dr. Sundvall has conducted program evaluations, research, publication, and engaged in public speaking on trauma, acculturation psychology, cross-cultural psychology, clinical practice, veteran and military practice, geriatric practice, higher education, digital ethics, policy development, diversity, equity and inclusion practices, and online/remote program design and growth.
