Non-Matriculated Students
If you want to explore the field of social work before applying to an MSW program, or if you’re looking to enhance your application to an MSW program, enrolling on a non-matriculated basis is a good option. Non-matriculated students take graduate-level courses equivalent to those offered in the foundation year of the MSW program.
You can take up to two classes as a non-matriculated student, all in one semester, or over the course of a year. Non-matriculated classes are not eligible for financial aid.
