Admissions & Aid
Ready to take the next step in earning a Master of Social Work degree? Apply now for the Fall 2018 MSW program.
Who we are
Our students come from different backgrounds, different neighborhoods, and different stages of their lives. Some are the first in their families to go to college, others have advanced degrees. There are those fresh out of college and those who have been in the workforce for decades. But they all share a passion and dedication to making a difference every day. Each is committed to helping their communities, small and large, and the individuals in them.
Qualities we seek
We admit students who share a dedication to working with underserved and diverse populations in an urban environment. We look for good written and verbal communications skills. We seek individuals with the maturity, adaptability, respect for diversity, concern for others, and capacity for self-reflection that will allow them to be great social workers.
If that’s you, then let’s get started.
You can choose from full-time, part-time (over three or four years), and accelerated options on two campuses, with competitive tuition and financial aid packages. A non-matriculated option is available on our Manhattan campus. We also welcome advanced standing students.
If you need reasonable accommodations, please reach out to our Office of Student Disability Services.
