We hear you. At the Graduate School of Social Work, we don’t just teach the ideals of clinical social work. We live them. In working towards your MSW degree at Touro, you'll gain the knowledge, tools and skills to excel in the field, and along with it, a family. Here you’ll find diverse friendships, faculty that are mentors, comradery, warmth, support and respect.
If there’s one thing that sets us apart more than any other, it’s our faculty. Our faculty are scholars and practitioners. All work and research in the fields in which they teach, and care as much about your success as you do.
The impact you’ll make as a social worker is immeasurable, but the cost to get there can seem overwhelming. We try to keep our tuition costs as low as possible, while still giving you a great education.
We want to help you practice what you’ve learned, so we offer a special class to help prepare you for the LMSW exam.
Flexible Class Times
We know you have many responsibilities and so we work hard to offer flexible class schedule options. One study plan is even called flex time.
“Uh-oh, it’s time to pay up.” That’s what I thought when I entered my Practical Field Seminar class last year and heard Professor Melissa Halpern Rojas speak,” recalls Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) student Heidi AtStathi.
For the residents of the 3rd and 4th floor of the Isabella Geriatric Center in Manhattan, medical social worker Farrah Denis fills many roles: a case supervisor, an intake coordinator, and perhaps most importantly, a friend.
