The legislative advocacy issues for 2015 will be calling for increased funding for the NYS Social Work Loan Forgiveness Program and passage of the New York State DREAM Act. We will be traveling together as a group to Albany to meet with Senate and Assembly representatives to advocate for these important issues. Background materials on the two legislative issues as well as advocacy tips and tools will be provided to prepare you for engaging in legislative visits. Professor Zelnick and I will be organizing several meeting to discuss the specific details.
