GSSW faculty and students will be heading to Albany to advocate for for social work. You must register if you would like to attend.
The legislative advocacy issues for our 2016 event will focus on increased funding for the NYS Social Work Loan Forgiveness Program and Raising the Age of Criminal Responsibility.
If you would like to attend, you must register. Because of the large volume of constituent legislative appointments that need to be made for all registered students and faculty participating in this year's event with their Senate and Assembly representatives (for their home district), advance registration is necessary for the effective organization of scheduled visits. Online registration is open now through Dec 14th. Registration is on a first come first serve basis; we will accommodate as many as space will allow.
