The NYC Dep't of Homeless Services is conducting their annual HOPE survey.
On Monday, January 22nd, the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) will conduct its annual Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE), a citywide community volunteer effort to canvass parks, subways, and other public areas in order to determine the quantity of people who are without a home.
YOU can help us collect vital information that is used by Outreach teams to help homeless people and connect them to the appropriate services they need!
For the past several years thousands of voluntears have teamed up the NYC-DHS to count the number of people living without shelter in the city. Information gathered by volunteers is critical to develop resourcesfor the most vulnerable New Yorkers.
