11th Annual NYAM Social Work Student Recognition Night
1216 Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street, New York, NY 10029
New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) hosts their annual event recognizing social work students contributions.
Each year students from the NY area schools are selected to present a poster and give an oral presentation of their original work in social work practice, research, or education in health, including physical health, mental health, and public health.
This year our very own Carolina Torres (with Beile Schmidt as co-author of the abstract) will be presenting on "Implementation of social support intervention among tuberculosis patients living in communities in New York City: a pilot program."
Attend this event to network with other social workers and students, learn about what your colleagues are working on, and support your colleague. The event is free but pre-registration is required.
