Who We Are

Our students come from different backgrounds, different neighborhoods, and different stages of their lives. Some are the first in their families to go to college, others have advanced degrees. There are those fresh out of college and those who have been in the workforce for decades. But they all share a passion and dedication to making a difference every day. Each is committed to helping their communities, small and large, and the individuals in them.

Qualities We Seek

We admit students who share a dedication to working with underserved and diverse populations. We look for good written and verbal communication skills. We seek individuals with the maturity, adaptability, respect for diversity, concern for others, and capacity for self-reflection that will allow them to be great social workers.

If that’s you, then let’s get started.

You can complete your Master of Social Work coursework full-time or part-time, in as little as 16 months or over four years, on campus or online. Our physical campuses are in Manhattan and Brooklyn. If you enroll in the traditional track, you can take all your classes on a physical campus, or in a combination of online and in-person. If you’re looking for a 100% online program, you can apply to our online track. Whichever option you choose, we offer competitive tuition and financial aid packages. We also welcome advanced-standing students.

If you need reasonable accommodations, please reach out to our Office of Student Disability Services
