Dorrine Veca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. She completed a postgraduate program in Advanced Clinical Social Work at New York University. Ms. Veca has been practicing in the field of social work for over 30 years. During that time, she has practiced in multiple settings including outpatient health centers, non-profit mental health agencies and her private practice. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked with individuals, couples and families. Ms. Veca has occupied a multitude of positions at different institutions as a field instructor, field liaison, adjunct faculty, administrative positions, mental health clinician and volunteer as a doula for accompaniment near life’s end. Ms. Veca joined Touro University Graduate School of Social Work in the year 2011 as a Field Specialist. Currently, she is an Assistant Director of Field Education and Advisement. She taught both the foundation and advanced year Integrative Field Practice Seminars and taught an Advanced Practice course.
