Ms. Miriam Turk, LCSW is a graduate of Stern College for Women & Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Ms. Turk became a member of the Touro GSSW faculty in 2016.

Ms. Turk joined the Touro staff as Outreach Liaison & Recruitment Director for the Jewish Community; a newly created position. Ms. Turk brings to Touro her more than 25 years of experience as both clinician and professional program developer. Prior to her association with Touro, Ms. Turk served as therapist and supervisor at JBFCS followed by the Directorship of the Yatzken Center with FEGS Health & Human Services and subsequent appointment as the Program Director of FEGS' Jewish Clinical and Community Outreach.

Ms. Turk's specialty is creating high caliber professional training and program development. Ms. Turk currently serves as the Executive Director of NEFESH International, an international not-for-profit professional organization.
