Roberta Shiffman, LMSW
Director of Field Education and Advisement
Professor Roberta Shiffman is the Director of Field Education and Advisement at the Graduate School of Social Work. She has more than 20 years’ experience working in the area of field education. In addition, she specializes in treating anxiety disorders in children and adults utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy, and has both taught and presented on these disorders. Prior to working in field education, Professor Shiffman held a variety of administrative positions including program director, training specialist, and executive director in several not-for-profit organizations.
